As an English girl, but from an Indian family, I willingly did all that my strict parents requested of me. School, university etc. But after being approached on several occasions by model agencies, I decided to give up my studies (History of Art) and go off anf see the world. For the past 4 years I've been working in Tokyo for 6 months at a time (Visa regulations), doing photo, TV and promo stuff that fulfills the typical Indian stereotype for Japanese eyes. The monies good, and so, I've been investing in property in Central Europe, namely Budapest. This apartment rental income is happily enough to live on...and so I've become an independent and secure girl at a relatively early age. Because I'm well aware that modelling has a short life span, I've been studying HTML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and the like and have recently made my first website...for me!!! I paid the photographer, the designer, bought server space and starter traffic, made up TGPs and MGPs...the works. I've been writing a couple of blogs as well. Thought the work is quite time consuming, at least I can work wherever I can find a wi-fi. And that's a kinda freedom!

Music:

Have bloody Snow Patrol on the brain as I can't go 2 paces in any direction without being assaulted by them. Still, a sweet tune. With my strict upbringing, I missed out on all the Techno, Rave and House and was left with a diet of Coldplay and other (rather deppressing) fair. BUT now I have discovered what I missed. And am loving happy, full on House!

Movies:

I don't care for Bollywood. It's too fake for me. Give me a gentle film that needs at least the tiniest part of brain use like 'Lost in Translation' or 'Momento'.

Television:

Soaps. And more Soaps. Lowest draw TV...that's me!

Heroes:

Funny, no entry for books! I guess peeps no longer read. Big Harry Potter fan.Two books I've just finished are: Murakmi's 'Norwegian Wood (which made me cry afew times) and 'Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them' by Al Franken, which is really preaching to the converted Left like me.
